ఏపీలో 4.14 కోట్ల మంది ఓటర్లు.. 46,389 పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాలు
AP Elections 2024: ఏపీలో మొత్తం 4.14 కోట్ల మంది ఓటర్లు ఉన్నట్లు రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల ప్రధాన అధికారి ముకేశ్ కుమార్మీనా తెలిపారు. విజయవాడ ఈసీ కార్యాలయంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ.. ఏపీలో సర్వీసు ఓటర్లు 65,707 మంది ఉన్నారన్నారు. రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా 46,389 పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నామని, ఒక్కో పోలింగ్ కేంద్రంలో 1500 మందికి అవకాశం కల్పిస్తున్నామన్నారు. ఓటర్ల సంఖ్య 1500 దాటితే ఆక్సిలరీ పోలింగ్ కేంద్రం ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రంలో 224 ఆక్సిలరీ పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాల కోసం ఈసీకి ప్రతిపాదనలు పంపామన్నారు.
అలాగే రాష్ట్రంలో సీ విజిల్ యాప్ ద్వారా 16,345 ఫిర్యాదులు అందాయి. నగదు, మద్యం పంపిణీపై 200 ఫిర్యాదులు వచ్చాయని, ఇందులో 10,403 ఫిర్యాదులు పరిష్కరించామన్నారు. ఎన్నికల కోడ్ (AP Elections 2024) ఉల్లంఘనకు సంబంధించి 864 ఎఫ్ఐఆర్లు నమోదయ్యాయని, ఎన్నికల సందర్భంగా జరిగిన హింసాత్మక ఘటనల్లో ఇద్దరు మృతి చెందగా, 156 మందికి గాయాలయ్యాయన్నారు. రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా 150 అంతర్రాష్ట్ర చెక్ పోస్టులు ఏర్పాటు చేశాం. ఎన్నికల నోటిఫికేషన్ ఇచ్చినప్పటి నుంచి ఇప్పటి వరకు రూ.203 కోట్ల సొత్తు సీజ్ చేశామని రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల ప్రధాన అధికారి ముకేశ్ కుమార్మీనా తెలిపారు.

AP Elections 2024: State Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena told there are a total of 4.14 crore voters in the state. He spoke at a media conference organized at the EC office in Vijayawada. He said that there are 65,707 service voters in the state. “We are setting up 46,389 polling centers across the state. We will give opportunity to 1500 voters in each polling center. If the number of voters exceeds 1500, an auxiliary polling center will be set up. Proposals have been sent to the EC for 224 auxiliary polling centers in the state.
So far 16,345 complaints have been received through the Sea Whistle app. 200 complaints were received on distribution of money and liquor. Out of this, 10,403 complaints were resolved as they were correct. 864 FIRs have been registered regarding violation of Election Code. Two people were killed and 156 people were injured in the violence during the election. We have set up 150 inter-state check posts across the state. “We have seized Rs. 203 crores since the election notification was given,” said the CEO.
