This policy applies to Bharat Shorts at bharatshorts.in. It explains what happens when you read the site, send an enquiry or use optional website features. It does not cover the separate websites linked from our articles. Bharat Shorts is an independent publisher, not an insurer, recruitment authority or government department. It cannot issue policies, settle claims or guarantee a job.
Information you provide
Our contact form asks for a name, reply email, enquiry topic and message, with an optional page URL. These details are stored in a private WordPress reader inbox accessible to site administrators so they can review and handle the enquiry. The form does not automatically add you to a marketing list. Please do not send insurance policy numbers, claim records, identity documents or recruitment passwords.
Technical information and abuse prevention
Serving a page involves technical data such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser type and device information. Hosting and security systems can use request logs to operate and protect the website. The contact form uses a short-lived keyed hash of the network address to limit repeated submissions; that rate-limit entry expires after one hour and is not saved as part of the message. It also uses a form token and a hidden spam-trap field.
Comments and optional accounts
Where a page allows comments, WordPress receives the comment and the identity fields you submit, along with technical information used for moderation and spam protection. A published comment and display name may be public; do not include private information. If you choose to save your details in the browser or sign in to an available account, WordPress may use cookies for that choice or session. Available features can differ by page.
Google advertising and your choices
Where Google advertising runs on the site, Google and other third-party vendors can use cookies or similar identifiers to select ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can allow it and its partners to personalise ads. Ad delivery may also involve IP addresses, browser information and measurement of impressions or interactions. Read how Google uses information from sites using its services and manage personalisation in Google My Ad Center. Participating vendors may also offer choices through YourAdChoices. Opting out of personalisation does not necessarily remove advertising or every use of storage.
Other integrations relevant to this website
The following integrations were identified in the website or its active WordPress features. An enabled integration does not mean every visitor uses every feature; requests depend on the page, settings and choices made.
- Google measurement: Google tags are present on the website. Where measurement is active and permitted, they can record page views, interactions, browser information and identifiers. Their behaviour depends on the site configuration and your consent choices. Provider information.
- Cloudflare: Cloudflare performance measurement is present. Website delivery and security also involve technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser headers. Provider information.
Why information is used and who receives it
Reader messages are used to investigate issues, handle privacy or copyright requests and reply where appropriate. Technical information supports delivery, security and measurement. Hosting, backup, anti-spam, analytics and advertising providers may process information necessary for their functions; their terms are linked above where identified. An enquiry may also need to be retained or disclosed to respond to a valid legal requirement. We do not promise that information stays entirely inside one country or that every provider uses the same retention period.
Retention and security
Messages in the reader inbox are scheduled for automatic deletion after 180 days, with a daily cleanup. Earlier deletion can be requested where applicable. Backups and security logs follow their own operational rotation and may not disappear at the same time as a live message. Access to the inbox is restricted to administrators, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and privacy requests
Use Contact Us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, or to raise another privacy concern. Include enough context to locate the record but not identity documents in an initial message. We may need proportionate verification before acting. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Browser controls can restrict cookies and notifications; where a consent message is provided, use it to review or withdraw optional choices. Simply reading this policy is not consent to optional tracking. See our Cookie and Cache Policy for more detail.
Children and changes
The contact form is not intended for children to send personal information without appropriate adult involvement. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information submitted to the site. New features or providers may change the way information is handled; material changes should be reflected here with a revised update date.
